I always buy a couple outfits in 6, 9 and 12 month sizes. My babies never fit in newborn clothes for more than a week. I gave a few brand new newborn clothes to a friend of mine for her baby because I had so many newborn outfits that my babies never even got to wear. I got much more use out of the larger sizes, so I try to give clothing that I can assume will actually see some use

That is why I always give baby bibs! They fit for years! My go to gift is one I made that has a 30 degree angle and the text below, "I'm acute, baby!"
