That's awful, LadyBelle. I had a c-section too with my son, and if I had to go back to work that soon I probably would have 1) fallen asleep on the Turnpike on my way to work 2) popped a stitch due to the insanity of my fellow South Florida drivers 3) have gotten myself fired for an overly emotional reaction to some situation at work due to lack of sleep/pain/hormones.
Yeah, 12 weeks is actually really good. If you don't qualify for the FMLA, it might not be that much. After my first c-section, I was back to work in a week. The followup ones I just looked for a new job a couple months after the baby was born.
