Aww, reminds me of when I was a kid and my mom would remind us that she didn't want to hear us killing each other, because if she heard it she'd have to do something but if we were quiet she had deniability.
During winter break, I told the kids if they couldn't resolve it by talking it out then they may consider resorting to duking it out.
Both kids stopped perplexed and of course the other parental unit walks in to only hear me tell the kids to spar. Sigh.
At my last thread, during winter break, I told the kids if they couldn't resolve it by talking it out then they may consider resorting to ducking it out. Both kids stopped perplexed and of course the other parental unit walks in to only hear me tell the kids to spar. Sigh.
In the midst of winter break I had about enough to and actually told the kids if they could not resolve it by talking it out they may just have to duke it out. Of course the spouse walks in just hear the last part.

The response to "Dad! He's trying to kill me!" is apparently not "Will it be quieter if he succeeds?"
