First, let me just say that every time I read your comic, I feel as if you are documenting every moment of my life with my three kids. It’s nice to know I’m not alone.
Also, we are Jewish, and I was just catching up on your comics when I came upon this one. Thank you for this! It’s nice to see some compassion and respect for others during a time of such unnecessary hatred.
Your comics speak to all parents, and this particular one helps to emphasize how we really all are just human-beings trying to make it through life. Life’s too short to fill it with hate. So, thank you for showing some love to your readers and for teaching your kids to accept others no matter what.
I love Fowl Language, and find that you are often depicting my wonderful, crazy ride with my children as they grow. And I usually laugh, and most of the time grab my husband to read todays' comic. But today was different -- this comic brought me to tears. My Jewish family and I thank you.
This makes me sad. We are living in a time where we are able to ...or should be able to communicate with each other using our words and should understand that it hurting people won't get them to change only opposite, we come up with creative inventions, we are capable of finding creative ways to compromise..non violently , we all live together in a world that so badly more than ever needs us to come together we focus SO MUCH TIME ON NEGATIVE.people live to hurt othe people..I dont get it.and we have done so much damage. .gosh what could we do if we were smart and focused on positive.
It strikes me funny to how we as individuals Long to be different... we want the shoes nobody else has and the shirt nobody has. Yet...how much of a walking contradiction can people be. Come on its really embarrassing actually. How some people think that anything different from what they are or do should be taken out its the very people that want to express their opinion so much its taken to that level to change and make a new law how their way of thinking is better for everyone ...it's those same people that take their very own rights away. Ha.
It's embarrassing that some are that ignorant and uneducated they can't use their words they have to get gratification by being destructive. It's embarrassing because we can walk into a mall and pass a million different items we would never wear...and we shop with friends the same friends that wear the shoes u could never or would eat what u think is nasty but we don't force them to eat what you like or dress how you dress why we can't see the world the same. Nobody is the same I'm not Jewish however a few very intelligent really caring people I know are jewish. And I'm so happy that they are not clones of me. I like having choices
Violence tho comes from a deeper place. We see more and more violence because more and more things are happening to people violence is negative inflicting negative on someone else... it never ends it keeps inflicting. ..and affects the individuals who are afraid to feel. But it's not the way to do it. Nothing good comes from bad.
I think everyone is picked on for somthing.I'm sorry people are that sad, I'm sorry that people are still uneducated im sorry that people are that mean.. and I am sorry that happens to anyone.
From a Jewish family - this gesture is much appreciated. We hesitated to put up our Hanukkah decorations because we weren’t sure if it would make our home a target. We want to enjoy the holidays without sacrificing our heritage, but it is hard to ignore the hate at times.
One of the cemeteries where my husband’s family is buried was vandalized and we have had reports of anti-Semitic vandalism in our community. Seeing signs of friendship from non-Jews is a welcome relief.
