When my sister was about 4, we had a rather memorable day like this. I don't remember why, but my mom had her camera out and was taking pictures of things. I think maybe she was selling or giving away a piece of furniture? Something like that. Anyhow, so my mother is busy with this, and my sister starts demanding, "Take my picture!" My mom tells her she needs to wait, Mom needs to finish what she's doing. My sister follows her around, getting more agitated by the second. "Take my picture! Take my picture!" So my mom finally finishes what she is doing, and by this time my sister is bright red in the face, streaming tears and snot. So my mom finally took her picture.
We kept the picture and put it in her photo album. In a way, it's a good representation of my sister's character - she has always been rather oblivious to what other people want/need when she wants/needs something. It ended up being a story that gets trotted out every now and again. I'd feel sorry for my sister over it, but she's often the one telling the story.
