I remember when my 1.5 year old son couldn't say 'truck'. And we would, inevitably be in public, when he'd hear sirens and say, rather loudly (of course), "Mama, firefuck? Firefuck?"
And when he was 4 years old, I remember him asking me what 'fuck' meant. Of course we were in public. I think it's an unsaid rule that little kids must hold in questions like this until they get into 'public'.
