As the son of a piano teacher, I can confirm that the effect of kids plunking out "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" several times in a row and missing the same notes every time does indeed have an ill effect on my temperament. "IT'S A 'D,' DAMMIT! THE ONE BETWEEN THE TWO BLACK KEYS!"
